Served as the interim Chief Executive Officer of the World AIDS Museum addressing the HR, financial and capacity building needs of this startup organization.

Brickell Homeowners Association, Inc.

Assist with advocacy, communications and marketing for this 25-year-old association representing the luxury condo community of Brickell in the heart of metropolitan Miami. Projects include 2015 Candidates Forum, a public school expansion initiative and special events for community building.

Center for Interactive Learning @ Miami Science Museum

Served as mentor/evaluator for federally funded Head Start science curriculum development grant.

Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens

Created and implemented professional development workshop for volunteer tour guides.
 

Haitian Heritage Museum

• Project Management:
  The Museum Magnet Project is an educational and outreach program aimed at increasing cultural awareness of the Haitian culture via art, music, history, and literature. Program activities included classroom, field trip and after school activities for students; as well as professional development activities for teachers and administrators.
   

• Capacity Building:
  I assisted museum leadership in expanding the museum's reach in the community by expanding their educational programming and establishing relationships and colloborations with community stakeholders such as Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS), other local arts & cultural organizations, and the local community.

 

Mindful Kids Miami (MKM)

I assisted this client with the implementation of a pilot project with Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS). Inner Journey - Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (IJ-MBSR), is a professional development pilot program for MDCPS teachers and administrators to engage them in mindfulness-based programs to help reduce stress and burnout.
